Installing a Southerly Facing Sun Terrace

Many garden in the United Kingdom benefit from a sun terrace, and it’s a nice concept which means there’s always a place to relax in the sun (when it finally arrives). Many sun terraces are raised and they tend to be designed using solid woods like timber.

Some people often confused a sun terrace with a decking, but terraces tend to be placed where there is a great deal of space, and they are not necessarily placed directly outside the property, which is often the case with a decking. If you’re fortunate enough to install a southerly facing sun terrace then make sure you have enough sun loungers and garden furniture.

You’re likely to get decent amounts of sun when your sun terrace is southerly facing but make sure there are no obstructive features like trees, sheds, and fences that significantly reduce the amount of sunshine. Not every garden has the potential for a sun terrace and if you do have the right kind of garden to install one then take advantage of it.
