Some might say that it’s quite strange to spend your evenings in a wooden shed rather than your living room, so why are summer houses so popular in British Gardens? It’s not like we have much decent weather throughout the course of the year, so why bother buying a summerhouse? Well, the fact that our weather is unpredictable makes a summer house a good buy. You are protected from wind and rain yet you still get the feel of the outdoors when you’re relaxing in it. You can also add heating and lighting should you want a cosier ambience, but a summerhouse is great for many reasons. It’s peaceful (if your neighbours are quiet), it’s great for entertaining, great for reading, it takes you back to nature and it provides a nice view of your garden. So the real question should be why wouldn’t you buy a summerhouse?
