It’s a tricky decision, but it’s one you may have to make at some stage; whether to have a shed in your garden or a summerhouse, or both of course (if you have the space). With a shed, you essentially just have a place to secure tools and equipment like drills, the lawnmower, bicycles and ladders, whilst a summerhouse is a space where you can relax, unwind after a long day and enjoy the wilderness around you. They are two completely different spaces yet they look very similar. One of the big differences in the build of a summerhouse is that there will be windows and plenty of light on offer, whilst a shed may only have one door and no windows at all. Of course, there are so many different shapes and sizes to choose from, but really you need to have one, the other or both. What you wouldn’t ant to do is create a summerhouse and then find it’s being used more like a shed, or on the other hand, buy a shed and want to convert it to a summerhouse. It’s better to think things through and make the right decision from the very start.
